Job Description
- Oversee the production activities.
- Responsible for manpower and capacity planning.
- Responsible to coordinate with project, shipping and marketing to prepare production fabrication planning and schedule.
- Responsible for the overall quality system and maintenance.
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
- Conduct Production Meeting and communicate customer, statutory and regulatory requirements to production personnel.
- Prepare report and update Management on the production output, manpower, raw materials, machineries down time and other issues related to production.
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Ensure that Production personnel follow procedures and work instruction.
- Ensure the materials; labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets.
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
- To train, evaluate, and discharge staff, and resolve personnel grievances.
- Provide necessary support to Project, Sales & Marketing, Shipping, Safety and Health, QAQC and other departments when required.
- Development of productivity, safety, quality, cost improvement strategies assigned by superiors.
Any other jobs assigned by superior when necessary
Qualification & Working Experience Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 10 years working experience in palm oil mill industry or
- Minimum 10 years of working experience in manufacturing company industry or any related field.
